SCOUT’S REPORT

“Be Prepared”

Scouts in Loyola High School is existing since last one and a half decades. It is amazing to see their skill in skiing, guarding, tree planting, cleanliness drive and many other activities with enthusiasm.

It is a well known fact that Scouts came into being in service in the year 1908 by Late Baden Powell. Lord Baden Powell was born on 22nd February in London. He was a successful army officer. Here he experienced several things which made him realize the needs of society. He formed an active youth group whom he inspired and trained.

According to its motto “Be Prepared” the scouts of Loyola High School are trained well. The service of scouts or to be scout is a real honour for each one. Our scouts have proved themselves in maintaining a clean environment, planting trees, taking care of school activities in cultural programmes etc. with excellent marching skill.

They have rendered their services in helping the younger ones in case of minor injury. The collection of woollen clothes along with its distribution to the sufferers in the cold wave are their major activities.

In all the activities of school the scout cadet render their selfless service.

There are over 30 cadets who receive training and attend camps from time to time. Our cadets have undergone the enhance training of “Pratham Sopan” in 2010 – 2011 and “Dwitya Sopan” in 2012 – 2013. All this helps in upgrading the cadets in various fields.

So as per their motto of “Be Prepared” demands our scouts are ready to serve at their best.
